When I co-founded The SC Small Business Chamber of Commerce, it was with the goal of creating an influential voice for all small business. Having worked with many small business owners over the years through my advertising/public relations firm, I knew how hard they worked and how helpless and frustrated they felt when it came to state and local government.

Today, the Small Business Chamber is providing a strong voice on important issues of general interest to small business. Thanks to alliances with numerous trade associations and our many individual members, we are making a difference. Small business issues are being addressed in the Legislature and our concerns are being recognized in the regulatory process.

The Small Business Chamber is successful because of the grass-roots lobbying of our thousands of members. We work hard to keep our members informed on the issues and when action is needed. Our strength is in our numbers. Every small business owner can make a difference when we work together to make government more small business friendly.
